Join the EKU Geosciences Department to learn more about the geology of Kentucky and to meet other students in or programs. We will take a day trip to see the newly opened Big Bone Lick State Park Museum where you can see evidence of prehistoric life during the last ice age including mammoths, giant sloths, and saber tooth cats. We will also travel a bit more north to Cincinnati to visit the Natural History Museum. Here we will visit a variety of exhibits including dinosaurs, minerals, and geologic interpretations of the local area. The Geosciences Department will provide travel and entrance to the museums.
Contact Dr. Jonathan Malzone (jonathan.malzone@eku.edu) or Dr. Walter Borowski (w.borowski@eku.edu) to reserve a seat.
